Striker Ball #9: 1.0.1
Not much, but a few improvements to the user experience on Striker Ball's 1.0.1 release.
Just here to say that Striker Ball's latest release is here with changes to make the experience a little better.
The shadow colors are now matched to the player join colors to emphasize the particular player that you are instead of which team you are on.
You can now join the game from the team select with the mouse and select which team by clicking on the side you want to join.
We also separated the pass and tackle controls from each other when controlling one character to avoid accidental passes in tight and confusing situations. The original pass and tackle controls in which pass and tackle are the same button are kept on the twin-stick and keyboard/mouse controls due to lack of other good button options.
While we can hopefully leave Striker Ball as is for a while, as we make improvements to our engine, we will likely come back occasionally to keep Striker Ball up to date from a code-base perspective and maybe we can even get that nice dynamic matchmaking feature we wanted sometime.
Anyways, enjoy!
